What to eat in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Two Days in Kuala Lumpur

In my blog you will find pictures of the food i ate during my travel to the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Me and my husband were in Kuala Lumpur for two nights before heading to Langkawi, beautiful island in Malaysia. You can read about Langkawi here https://eatwithchi.com/what-to-eat-in-langkawi-malaysia/

During my travels we try to eat local food. We visit night markets, mid budget restaurants and famous streets. Breakfast is generally in the hotel.

The pictures will help people travelling to Kuala Lumpur in deciding what and where to eat. I am an Indian and i know when Indians travel overseas the most important question is what will i eat there?

KFC is delicious in Kuala Lumpur, chicken is juicier than India. After check in we went opposite our hotel for a quick cheap meal. My husband had simple grilled chicken with rice and gravy and i had KFC’s Burger.

Hard Rock Cafe, KL

Delicious Non Veg Platter with our beer at Hard Rock Cafe, Kuala Lumpur was quite filling and easy on pocket.

Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang

Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang is a must visit to indulge in some great local food at affordable prices. Live barbecues, variety of dimsums, coconut icecream, noodles, beer all available on the road.

Central Market, Kuala Lumpur

Shopping, arts, handicrafts, fresh fruit juices, candies and local chips are few things available here. A beautiful flea market you won’t regret going.

 Jalan Pentaling, Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur

Exotic food, dirt cheap shopping and totally unique stuff. We had deer meat and duck here.

Near Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur

We stayed near Petronas Towers in the Hotel Concorde which also has Hard Rock Cafe in the premises. Both the days we had amazing breakfast here and dinner on our second night.
