Owl is Well, as the name suggests is a late night kitchen and delivers till the wee hours of the morning!In June i tried a couple of burgers, pizza and cheesecake from their GK 1 outlet and had a great experience! So last night i again ordered from their new branch in Safdurjung and this time tried their 20″ Monster pizzas and pastas.
The burgers were quite huge and were packed in beautiful yellow boxes and came with french fries, mayonnaise, ketchup and tissue. I tried Hangover Cure Burger which was messy but delicious! It had barbecue chicken loaded with sauce, coffee glazed bacon, jalapenos, crispy onion rings and fried egg. A loaded juicy burger in huge buns! Another was the Lonestar Bird Burger, a very crunchy one! It had crispy chicken patty, gherkins, grilled onions and cheddar cheese. The onions gave a kick to the burger and the cheese was melted on the patty! Try to have the burgers as soon as they arrive else will get soggy.
Ordered Meatatarians United Pizza and California Calling Veg Pizza in Monster 20″ pizzas. The pizzas were HUGE! Had thin crust topped with pork pepperoni, pulled chicken, lamb chunks, sausages, mozzarella cheese in the Meatatarian Pizza and Broccoli, zucchini, bell peppers, black & green olives, cheese in the California Pizza. Both were equally good. I cant say which one i liked the most! They are the only ones who have 20″ pizzas in Delhi currently.
It was a feast for the entire family.
In the pastas ordered Penne Alfredo Veg which had delicious white sauce and mushrooms. Quite decent.
Only tried Blueberry cheesecake in the desserts from Owl is well. I almost licked it, soft and spongy.
