Epicuria, Nehru Place has become food hub of South Delhi. Perched on top on Nehru Place Metro Station, it has something for everyone. A food court offering almost every cuisine, fine dining restaurants, major fast food chains, places to party, pubs, bars and a luxury multiplex. In my blog i have covered few of my favourites here.
Yuzu Restaurant & Bar, New Delhi
I love Japanese Cuisine and suddenly its really picked up in Delhi. Yuzu is one of the most beautiful places to eat in Epicuria. Its beautifully done with cherry blossoms on the ceiling, well equipped Sake bar, neon lights and geisha on the wall. The sake cocktails and food is outstanding! I tired gyozo, sushi, rock shrimps, spinach salad, asian meal bowl and matcha icecream. I would highly recommend the place for date nights.
Nehru Place Social, Epicuria
One can never go wrong with food and drinks at Social Offline outlets. Their Nehru Place Social is always buzzing with people. There is a ferries wheel inside with seating, which really attracts young crowd and couples. The stadium style seating gives you great view of the whole place. The DJ console and the bar are again beautifully done. They even have a small terrace. I would highly recommend Goan Prawn Curry, Paneer Makhani Biryani, Baos, Laksa bowl and signature LIIT. Highly recommended to visit with your friends.
United Coffee House Rewind, Nehru Place
A Delhi classic United Coffee House has opened new outlets in Nehru Place, Cyber Hub and Mall of India with a bang called UCH Rewind. The food is to die for! You will find almost everything on the menu. I loved the Pao Bhaji Fondue, Mac and Cheese fritters, Chettinad Mutton with Malabar Paratha, Konkani jheenga curry and Atomic Gulab Jamun (a huge 600 grms of gulab jamun filled with nuts). Coupled with few drinks, UCH Rewind will make any dinner special for the complete family.
Dhaba by Claridges, Nehru Place
There are few days when we just want to dig into our all time favourite North Indian cuisine and there is no better place than Dhaba by Claridges. I have always seen the place full with families during dinner. They have colourful interiors with a truck, theka and comfortable seating. They also have live performances on the weekends. My favourite things to order here are Balti Meat, Amritsari Fish, Tandoori mutton chaap, lassoni palak with garlic naan.
Taco Bell India, Epicuria
If fast food is on your mind, then head to Taco Bell. Its one of my favourite places to eat since i was in the States. Even my mom loves taco bell. Nehru Place Taco Bell has huge screen, music, pub lights and even Beer! We love to visit the place for quesadillas, burrito, double tacos and their delicious sides. Its complete value for money and great option when you are short of time.
Other few outlets i also like here are Chatter House, Lord of the Drinks Forum, Benihana, Fio Cookhouse, Chaayos and Pizza Express.
